Newcastle Sendai Karate Club is a karate club based in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, UK.  The club teaches the traditional Shotokan style of karate.   Sendai Karate Club was founded in 1967 in Sunderland, and proved so popular that Sensei Jeff Barwick (6th Dan) set up a sister branch in Newcastle in 1975.

The club is run by Ernie Payne (5th Dan).
